Nancy is committed to assisting senior persons
and persons with disabilities in her practice, and she is also honored to serve
persons and families of all ages. Her
primary areas of practice are Elder Law, Medicaid Long Term Care Planning,
Disability Planning; Estate Planning, Guardianship, and Probate.
Nancy has a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business, and earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law,
cum laude, in December, 2008. Before becoming an attorney, Nancy worked for The
Boeing Company for twenty- two years, primarily as an Engineering Manager.
Nancy is a member of Inns of Court, whose
mission is to foster excellence in professionalism, ethics, civility, and legal
skills. She is also Vice-President of
the Washington Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. In 2015, she served as vice-chair on the
Guardianship Committee with the Tacoma Pierce County Bar Association. Nancy is
also an adjunct professor at Seattle University School of Law, where she
teaches Elder Law.
Nancy is a regular
volunteer for the First Responders Will Clinic sponsored by the Washington
State Bar Association, providing basic estate planning for families in Law
Enforcement and First Responders. She is a member in good standing with the
Washington State Bar; the King County Bar; and the Tacoma Pierce County Bar.
Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Nancy
grew up in Burien, Washington, where her father was also an attorney. She makes her home in Roy, Washington with
her husband, Larry, and chooses to locate her practice in the friendly and beautiful
community of Puyallup.
